Before the digital age of recreation, there was camp! Kids developed new SKILLS through outdoor adventures, FUN included a day at the pool or a walk in the woods with their BFF and TEAMWORK created lasting memories and “real” social networks.

For 125 years, children of all ages have discovered a whole new world of fun, memories and friendships at the YMCA. Our programs include daily adventures for our campers and are convenient for you with over 55 camp sites located throughout the Dallas Metropolitan area, from pre-school to teens.  At the YMCA, we believe that the secret to a great camp experience is the camp staff.  That’s why YMCA camps include low child-to-counselor ratios and well-trained staff who love their jobs! 

Not sure if you can afford camp?

The YMCA is dedicated to offering fun and affordable programs for families.  However, we understand the strain that financial demands can put on working families.  That’s why through the generous donations from the community to the YMCA Partners Campaign, we offer financial assistance for families in need.   Assistance is awarded based on individual need and the ability of the YMCA to fund the subsidy.
